Hi, I’m Madison!
I’m a photographer living in Providence, Rhode Island. I grew up with a passion for nature and music, and along the way, I discovered a third love for capturing moments.
I started by taking a camera along while hiking or going to various local shows. Typically shooting photos of the ocean or city of Boston, and photos of bands that wouldn’t see the light of day for years. I honed in on these practices while studying design at Wentworth Institute of Technology and, eventually, Massart.
I love to work with color, lighting, and movement. Constantly experimenting with in-camera fx on a budget. I find inspiration in film, as well as the renaissance and dark arts.
Through the years I would visit family in Portland and Mt. Angel Oregon. In 2019 I I found myself surrounded by forests covered in fog and snow which ultimately ignited a fire inside of me. A fire I don’t see being put out soon.
When I’m not traveling out west, I work as an assistant manager and barista at a local small-batch coffee roastary. Yet again, I found myself combining passions when I became their photographer and social media manager.
In the past few years, I’ve also been freelancing as a photographer for bands at local DIY gigs. Touring here and there, as well as offering design services.
